Based in Victoria, BC, Christie is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) working with the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific as the Mental Performance Lead. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association) and a Registered Psychologist in Alberta (College of Alberta Psychologists).

Earning a Master of Science in Athletic Counseling from Springfield College, MA, she has supported individuals and teams at all competitive levels, including Olympic and Paralympic Games from 2018 to the present in the Mental Performance and Mental Health roles.

Christie has been a member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association since 2000 and has served as the British Columbia Regional Representative (2020-2023), past Supervision Sub-Committee chair, and continues to serve as a committee member. She is also a Professional member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and the Canadian Psychological Association.

Christie enjoys networking and learning through continuing education opportunities in areas such as Mental Health First Aid for Youth, Thought Technology Biofeedback, CBT, Anxiety, Depression, Grief work, QPR, Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, Positive Psychology, Critical Incident Debriefing, LGBTQ2s+, and EDIA committee work, and Safe Sport policies and practices.  Most recently, she completed her EMDR Basic Training.
